Happy Halloween!

Halloween is quickly approaching! It can be  a fun time to celebrate, get creative and enjoy the traditions that come with the day.

On Thursday, October 31, 2024, we will have a costume parade at 2 p.m. to the Red Willow Lodge. Parents are welcome to watch from the front of the school. Regular classes will take place for the rest of the day.

Students are invited to wear costumes to school.  Here are some guidelines we ask you to follow:

1. Costumes are comfortable and practical enough to wear throughout the day in the classroom and outside at recess.

2. No Weapons such as knives, guns or swords are allowed.

3. Masks can only be worn for the parade. Students should be easily recognizable or be able to identify themselves with staff and other students when asked. 

4. If a student does not want to wear their costume throughout the day, and would only like to wear it for the parade, they must be able to get themselves dressed in it independently
